About WOW Living

WOW Living is a registered charity with a charitable designation for 'Relief of Poverty'.


Our mission is to provide people living in poverty with the tools and resources they need to strengthen stability and increase resiliency.


We define poverty as 'the extent to which an individual does without resources' (Bridges Out of Poverty). 


Research has shown that the number one resource that leads someone out of poverty is a positive relationship/role model. With this in mind our volunteer TEAM are viewed as our number on asset. As we pour into our TEAM and strengthen them as individuals they, in turn, pour into our guests. Every guest is viewed as a potential TEAM member who can one day pour into someone else.

Donate

Our heart is that the majority of the dollars donated to WOW Living go to directly supporting the people we serve. Our passion is to, provide resources to under-resourced people and to provide them with the opportunity to do the same. 


General donations will be put toward our operating costs. These may include anything from covering a few nights at a hotel for a homeless friend, putting gas in the car to get them to appointments or providing them with a cup of coffee, groceries or a meal. Donations may also go toward the cost of training, staffing or affordable housing expenses. Whenever possible we desire to employ people with lived experience in areas such as homelessness, poverty, addiction and mental health challenges.
